herbouw 25th April 2015 11.50 local time – Many thousands die as Nepal was hit by an enormous earthquake (7.9 on the Richter scale) and the material damage is unimaginable!

Foundation Diyo Nepal, founded in 2007 and active in the region, immediately starts emergency assistance. They provide people with food, shelter and clothing and will keep doing so as long as needed. Simultaneously, plans are made for the reconstruction of the region starting with the rebuilding of 150 homes and 5 Foundation schools. Enough donations were received by Diyo Nepal for rebuilding of the houses.

Going back to school will bring the children structure in their daily lives thus helping them to process the traumatic experiences. For more information: www.diyonepal.nl
